SUBJECT: Clarifications on the Circular No. D1(d)/G.P. οικ.1474/9-1-2019 ( ID: OGF8465FYO-DO8) “Monitoring of the quality of water for human consumption within the internal water supply network of hospitals, clinics, health centres, retirement homes, tourist facilities, hotels, prisons and camps”

Following the (a) relevant Circular of our Service on “Monitoring of the quality of water for human consumption within the internal water supply network of hospitals, clinics, health centers, nursing homes, tourist facilities, hotels, prisons and camps” and taking into account. that chronic dialysis units provide services, equivalent to those of hospitals, clinics, etc., to sensitive populations, for reasons of protecting the health of inpatients and, more generally, for reasons of protecting and ensuring public health, it is considered appropriate to monitor the parameters of legionella and pseudomonas in the internal water supply system of these units, as referred to in the (a) relevant circular.
